Surplus military target rifles:

Based on the Mauser 96 action and utilizing reworked military actions, these rifles are well known as tack-drivers! These were developed for  use in State sponsered civilian/military 300-yard   shooting matches. Chambered for the inherently accurate 6.5x55 cartridge, this rifle wears a 29" free floating barrel. This rifle was built in 1973 using a 1904 dated receiver. It has the original Soderin micrometer sight and hooded front sight. Overall condition is excellent with 93-95% blue finish remaining. The stock is in very good shape with some handling marks, but no cracks or chips. The bore is excellent with bright, sharp rifling and no sign of throat erosion.
